Get Bronzy, Glowing Skin In Just A Few Steps.
We all love a summer tan. No matter your skin tone, if it's been touched by the sun it always looks great. It looks more radiant and less tired. Whilst research shows we do need a daily dose of Vitamin D, too much sun can have harmful effects such as premature againg and skin cancers.
So how can we get this gorgeous, glowy, just back from vacation look? Here are 5 easy steps !
Exfoliate
Exfoliating the skin will remove the layer of dead skin cells that sit on the skin's surface. According to the Amercian Academy of Dermatology, “exfolaion can leave your skin looking brighter and improve the effectiveness of topical skin care products by enhancing absorption.” It can also increase collagen production, which promotes glowing and vibrant skin
Apply Self Tanning Cream
Self Tanning Creams have come a long way. I love gradual tanners as they are moisturisers with a hint of tan that you can build up. Bronzing Custarad by Vani-T is a personal favourite as it contains Vitamin C, E and shea butter that adds moisture to the skin and it can be used on the face and bosy. It's also vegan and not tested on animals.
Bronzing Gel and Blush
As a makeup artist I love creamy blush. It has a beautiful glowy finish. A trick I love to do is use a bronzing gel with the cream blush over the top. Apply bronzer all over the face or along the cheekbones and around the hairline where the sun would naturally hit. Follow up with some cream blush on the apple of the cheeks. I love Pixi ‘On the Glow Blush Tinted Moisture Sticks,” They comein 4 shades and are available in Sephora.
Add Shimmer
A touch of shimmer high on the cheekbone creates highlight and shine. For even dewier definition and brightness, smooth an iridescent hightlighter onto the apples of your cheeks,, along the bridge of your nose, and on your eyelids.
Lips
Finish it off with some lip colour.. Apply a sheer lip stain or gloss to complete your vacay look. Fenty Beauty’s ‘Fenty Glow’ gloss suits all skin tones.
